Dr. Lisha White is a member of the Systems Integration Division (SID) of the Engineering Lab (EL). Her work leverages engineering and information sciences by developing robust approaches to enhancing real-time additive manufacturing decision-making. To this end, she is specifically focused on enabling additive manufacturing digital twins through the strategic use of existing architectures, bridging the gap between physical manufacturing and digital intelligence.
Dr. White's primary areas of interest include Design for Additive Manufacturing, Digital Thread for Additive Manufacturing, and Additive Manufacturing Digital Twins. Her research explores Service Oriented Architecture, Modeling and simulation for Additive Manufacturing, and the application of Ontology and Semantic Relatedness for Manufacturing, and AI.
