Kurt Thompson (Assoc)
Postdoctoral researcher
Kurt is a postdoctoral researcher working on the Penning Trap experiment. In 2020, he completed his Ph.D. in physics under the supervision of Professor C. Fred Driscoll at the University of California San Diego, where he studied heat transport in pure electron plasmas. Kurt completed his first postdoc with the ALPHA collaboration at CERN, where he performed experimental tests of the Standard Model and Weak Equivalence Principle via precision spectroscopy and gravitational measurements of antihydrogen.
