Kelly Telu (Fed)
Dr. Telu works closely with members of the Chemical Reference Data Group. Her research interest is in the area of mass spectrometry-based proteomics and metabolomics. Dr. Telu's graduate work was completed in the lab of Dr. Michael A. Freitas in proteomics with a focus on cancer biomarker development. Dr. Telu is currently working on LC-MS-based methods for the characterization of metabolites in SRM 1950 (Metabolites in Human Plasma). This data will be presented on the newly launched Standard Reference Material and Data (SRM/D) website (http://srmd.nist.gov/) and will provide information on metabolites in 1950 beyond the 95 certified common metabolites. This information will extend the applications of SRM 1950.
