Kari M. Reidy (Fed)

Chief of Staff

Kari Reidy is the Chief of Staff for the Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). In this role, she provides strategic leadership and coordination across the laboratory. Kari works closely with leadership to strengthen operations, align priorities, and advance ITL’s mission.

Prior to joining ITL in 2024, Kari was the Deputy Director of the NIST Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs, where she helped guide engagement with Congress and developed legislative strategies on issues of national importance.

Kari also served as the Manager of Communications for the Manufacturing Extension Partnership where she led communications, marketing and stakeholder engagement efforts to support U.S. small and medium-sized manufacturers.

She received a Master of Business Administration from Hood College in 2005 and her Bachelor of Arts in Management from Hood College in 1998.
