James Eckley (Fed)
Data Scientist
James is a Data Scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Office of Advanced Manufacturing (OAM), which also serves as the Advanced Manufacturing National Program Office for Manufacturing USA. James received an MS in Data Analytics from the University of Maryland Global Campus as well as a BS in Information Systems at Salisbury University.
Prior to this role, James worked as an administrative assistant for OAM, supporting the Partnerships and Outreach Division.
At OAM, James works with federal agency staff by providing data analyses that evaluate program performance, track industry trends, and build visual reports across Manufacturing USA initiatives. In this role, he maintains central dashboards and resolves technical data challenges to ensure accurate tracking across key programs.
