Jairo Torres (Fed)
Administrative Officer
Jairo (Jay) Torres joined the Materials Science and Engineering Division (MSED) in October 2020 as an Administrative Officer. Prior to joining the MSED, he began working for the Center for Nanoscale Science and Technology and Physical Measurement Laboratory in October 2016 as an Office Manager and Administrative Office Assistant. Before joining NIST, Jairo served in the U.S. Army for ten years as a Non-Commissioned Officer deploying thirty-nine months in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. He received his B.S. in Business Administration, Major in Acquisition and Contract Management at Strayer University.
