Dr. Lindsey Chambers (Fed)
Physical Science Tech and Group Quality Manager
Lindsey works in the Gas Sensing Metrology Group in the Chemical Sciences Division (Material Measurement Laboratory). Since starting in 2024, she has worked with nitric oxide standards. Lindsey certifies and performs quality assurance on all nitric oxide SRMs, using chemiluminescence and non-dispersive ultraviolet analyzers. Recently, she began developing new nitric oxide gravimetric primary standards.
Lindsey is also the Group Quality Manager, controlling the group's Quality Manual and Technical Procedures as well as coordinating the SRM QA schedule and maintaining the cylinder database for the group.
Prior to coming to NIST, Lindsey worked on the NASA Cassini mission studying Saturn's rings.
