Breeze is a Human Resources Specialist in the Learning and Organizational Development Division (LODD) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where she designs, coordinates, and manages leadership and professional development initiatives that strengthen the organization's workforce. She serves as the Program Manager for leadership programs, including Essential Management Core Concepts (EMC2), the Supervisory Learning Series (SLS), and the Project Management Leadership Program (PMLP). In addition to program management, Breeze collaborates with subject matter experts, coordinates instructors and stakeholders, develops communications and learning resources, manages participant engagement, and helps deliver high-quality learning experiences that prepare leaders for success.
Since joining NIST in 2016 through the Clerical Staffing Program and she has built a diverse career supporting multiple organizations across the agency. She began as an Administrative Assistant in the Material Measurement Laboratory (MML), where she provided administrative support for several high-impact initiatives. During her time in MML, she assisted with the Standard Reference Data (SRD) eCommerce migration to Salesforce, provided administrative support for the Research Data Framework (RDaF) Pilot Studies that contributed to the published RDaF framework, and was recognized with an MML Service Recognition Award for her contributions during COVID. Breeze also served as an Administration Officer for the Office of Financial Resource Management (OFRM).
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Breeze is an active member of the NIST Toastmasters Club and currently serves as the club's Treasurer, where she supports the organization's operations while continuing to develop her communication and leadership skills.
