Currently pursuing a Doctorate degree in Civil Engineering at Morgan State University, Bello is dedicated to advancing knowledge, evident in several published academic works. His broad research interest includes construction safety, inclusive procurement strategies, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ). Bello's doctoral dissertation is focused on equitable workforce development strategies for Storm water infrastructure projects. Bello has gained several work experiences working in diverse work environments. In his role as a PREP research associate at NIST working with the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Group, Bello works on modelling air contaminant risk exposure to occupants, devising novel strategies for achieving sustainable and efficient IAQ in buildings. A Member of several esteemed professional organizations including the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Bello is passionate about making a positive impact in the world, which extends to participating in volunteer and advocacy projects towards a sustainable society.
