Amy Mahn (Fed)
Information Technology (IT) Standards Advisor
Ms. Amy Mahn is an Information Technology (IT) Standards Advisor in the Office of IT Standardization in the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), an agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce. Amy’s primary focus is leading and supporting international engagements that are focused on IT standardization for NIST. This work includes direct engagement on IT standards efforts with international governments and industry, as well as contributing to international standards development efforts.
Amy previously worked eleven years at the Department of Homeland Security in various roles related to cybersecurity and critical infrastructure protection.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts from Muhlenberg College and a Master of Arts in Political Science from American University.
