Abstract
The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is involved in a several year effort to understand and address the communication problems that first responders (e.g., firefighters, police, and EMS) are confronted with day-to-day and in large scale emergencies and disaster situations. In what following are three papers that summarize sets of experimental data collected, performed, and processed in various radio propagation environments over the past six years.Citation
