Abstract
We describe our program to measure branching fractions of Fe II in the vacuum ultraviolet. Branching ratios above 1400 are measured using Fourier transform spectroscopy of hollow cathode and Penning discharge sources. The spectra are radiometrically calibrated by synchrotron radiation from the SURF III storage ring. For branching ratios below 1400 we are investigating the use of phosphor image plates with our 10.7-m normal incidence vacuum spectrograph. Our branching fractions will be combined with radiative lifetimes measured at the University of Lund, Sweden to obtain oscillator strengths.
