Abstract
Size and size distribution measurement of powders are conducted using different techniques of size analysis.Underlying all these techniques are certain fundamental issues that influence the accuracy and reproducibility ofthe results. A thorough understanding of these issues, including the importance of sampling, dispersion, strengthsand limitations of techniques, sources of error, variation and bias, and the role of proper application of standardscan significantly help in improving the measured size and size distribution results. This work examines someaspects of these factors that can be easily controlled by the user.Citation
