The CIO Cyber Security Notes will be published six times a year and distributed to the senior-level CIOs and senior-level executives within the Federal government. Its purpose is to heighten awareness of cyber security trends and issues. It will report highlights of cyber security issues as well as cover articles outlining current trends, issues, and hot topics. The Critical Infrastructure Assurance Office (CIAO), the Federal Computer Incident Response Center (FedCIRC), and the National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) will also provide items on a regular basis.
