Comments on Clemens Elster's contribution to the Working Group 1 of the Joint Committee for Guides in Metrolgy, BIPM, entitled "Calculation of uncertainty in the presence of prior knowledge" (2007, Metrologia, Volume 44 (2007), Pages 111-116), showing how Markov Chain Monte Carlo can be used to implement a Bayesian procedure that is a streamlined alternative to what that contribution proposes.Conference Title
