Abstract
The 1998 ITL Technical Accomplishments report documents the activities and achievements of the Information Technology Laboratory, a research component of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Covering fiscal year 1998, the report presents an overview of the laboratory, highlights technical projects in eight divisions, and describes industry interactions, international activities, staff accomplishments, and services that ITL provides to NIST staff and the public.
