Measuring Pressures With Cavity Ring-Down Spectroscopy

Abstract

The industrial demand for sensitive and noninvasive tools with which to measure pressure has spurred the use of optical methods to make these measurements. This paper reviews these industrial needs, and discusses how cavity ring-down spectroscopy can be used to meet these needs.
