Abstract
This document summarizes the discussions during a meeting that was convened to bring together fire scientists and engineers familiar with fire calorimeters and the use of fire calorimeter data for estimating the fire hazard of materials. The objectives of the meeting were to recommend procedures for evaluating data for unsteady burning in bench-scale fire calorimeters, to identify the important material and fire properties needed for fire hazard prediction, and to suggest procedures to extract material properties and fire parameters from experimental data for unsteady burning.
