Thin ferromagnetic layers with broken structural inversion symmetry are subject to the Rashba spin-orbit coupling. We examine effects of the Rashba spin-orbit coupling on conduction electron spin dynamics and find that the electric current flowing along the layers generates not only the field-like spin transfer torque but also the Slonczewski-like torque. This additional torque modifies the current-induced magnetization dynamics qualitatively and may be responsible for various magnetization dynamics phenomena observed in experiments.
