Abstract
The 94th Annual Meeting of the National Conferenc eon Weights and Measures (NCWM) was held in San Antonio, Texas, July 12 throgh 16, 2009. The theme of the Conference was "Getting Involved, Making a Difference." The NCWM develops and recommends lasws and regulations, technical codes for weighing and mesuring devices used in commerce, test methods, enforcement procedures, and administrative guidelines for adoption by regulatory agencies in the interest of promoting uniformity of requirements and methods in state and local jurisdictions. The Annual Meeting brings together government officials and representatives of business, industry, trade associations, and consumer organiations for the purpose of hearing and discussing subjects that relate to the field of Weighs and Measures Technology.
