A Robust Microporous Metal-Organic Framework Constructed from a Flexible Organic Linker for Highly Selective Sorption of Methanol over Ethanol and Water
A microporous metal-organic framework MOF 1 [Zn(L)2(methanol)2](H2L = (1 R, 3S)-1,2,2-trimethyl-3-(pyridin-4-ylcarbamoyl)cyclopentanecarbocylic acid) constructed from flexible Zn2+ node and flexible organic linker L was obtained by solvothermal reaction of diamond topology, exhibiting highly selective sorption of methanol over ethanol and water.
