Abstract
We convert a mid-infrared frequency comb to near-infrared wavelengths through sum-frequency generation in an aperiodically poled ZnO:LiNBO3 waveguide. Conversion across a bandwidth of 2.5 υm - 4.5 υm is demonstrated in a single device, with increased conversion efficiency in comparison to a bulk PPLN crystal. Additionally, stability measurements are reported. Finally, we resolve upconverted methane lines using an near-infrared optical spectrum analyzer.
