The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) is pleased to announce Project Call 10.1 for technology and workforce development projects. NIIMBL expects to launch a combined $8 million of project activities to address U.S. competitiveness in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
Concept submissions are due September 9, 2026, at 5 pm ET. Submitters must be NIIMBL members.
Project Call 10.1 focuses on platform technologies that enhance manufacturing flexibility, strengthen process understanding, and enable intelligent, data‑driven operations. Priority technical topics include:

Through NIIMBL Project Calls, members collaborate on cutting-edge technology and workforce initiatives that advance biopharmaceutical manufacturing, support national security, and help to expand access to life‑saving therapies.
