One Week Left! NICE Framework Comments Due July 17
The NICE Program Office seeks input from the cybersecurity workforce and education community on proposed updates to the NICE Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework). Feedback received during this comment period will be used to inform any necessary changes on the following proposed updates:
- Cybercrime Investigation (Work Role IN-WRL-001)
A thorough review of this existing Work Role in the Investigation Work Role Category was conducted with subject matter experts from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice. This draft adjusts the Task, Knowledge, and Skill (TKS) statements in this Work Role and further adds an alignment of Knowledge and Skill statements to each of the Tasks. - Artificial Intelligence (AI) Security (Competency Area NF-COM-002)
This update adds a list of Knowledge and Skill statements, including newly drafted statements, to the AI Security Competency Area as part of ongoing updates to the 11 new Competency Areas released in March 2024.
