Atomic Clock Site Receives Communicator Award of Excellence

Communicator Award

The Communicator Awards recognize excellence, effectiveness, and innovation across all areas of communication. 

The Communicator Awards are sanctioned and reviewed by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts (AIVA), an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed brand and media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms.

The Atoms: Nature's Perfect Timekeeper website received a Communicator Award of Excellence in the General-Science and Technology category.

The Award of Excellence is the highest honor. It is only given to those entrants whose work demonstrates their position as the best in the field.

The site is an in-depth look at NIST's atomic clocks: how they work, their history and what innovations they have helped spur.
