Satya Brat Tiwari (IntlAssoc)

PREP Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Satya Brat Tiwari specializes in resource recovery from waste, currently focusing on recovering critical elements from lithium-ion battery waste. He completed his PhD on phosphorus recovery from sewage sludge using thermochemical treatment and his Master's work on improving biogas production during anaerobic digestion using conductive materials. His research centers on translational science—bridging laboratory research with real-world environmental applications. He is passionate about developing scalable technologies that create sustainable solutions from waste streams. Beyond research, Dr. Tiwari enjoys traveling, swimming, and reading non-fiction. He welcomes collaboration with researchers and industry partners working toward sustainable resource recovery solutions.
