2024 Gold Medal Award

AWARD CITATION

The group is recognized for developing and implementing innovative quantum current sensors to achieve the world's most accurate measurements of the SI units for electric current and mass. This work surpasses present capabilities of conventional artifact standards, enables the dissemination of current and mass measurements with the best accuracy, and fulfills the vision of the electrical "metrology triangle," where the primary standards for the ampere, volt, and ohm can be achieved within a single unified quantum framework.
