Ashley Beasley Green of the NIST Material Measurement Laboratory Biomolecular Measurement Division is a 2025 recipient of the Rising Star Award presented by the American Chemical Society Women Chemists Committee for her leadership of and impactful contributions to the NIST urine albumin standardization program, including the development of a first-of-its-kind urine reference material to promote accuracy in kidney disease diagnosis and monitoring, and her involvement in the NIST Women in STEM organization and community STEM outreach.
