On September 5, 2024, TIME included Elizabeth Kelly, director of the United States Artificial Intelligence Safety Institute, on its list of the 100 most influential people in AI.
Elizabeth was recognized for her leadership of the AI Safety Institute (AISI), for being pivotal in shaping the Biden administration’s approach to technology policy and for being one of the lead drafters of Biden’s AI executive order.
