2024 Bronze Medal Award

AWARD CITATION

The group is recognized for developing and distributing generalized frameworks for autonomous experimentation in the field of materials science, with direct application to magnetic property measurements, corrosion studies, characterization techniques and composition-structure phase mapping.  The group's pioneering research has led to five to ten times acceleration in materials discovery, depending on the application, versus traditional experimental approaches, greater experimental repeatability, and discovery of a best-in-class material.
