AWARD CITATION

The team is recognized for engineering a first-of-its-kind measurement scale that has been adopted worldwide to strengthen organizations’ cybersecurity postures by improving phishing detection training. Socially engineered phishing attacks are on the rise and have become increasingly sophisticated. The culmination of years of research on real-world phishing data, the Phish Scale facilitates a multi-pronged defense incorporating technology, process, and people, enabling categorization of the difficulty of humans detecting email phishing attempts.
