Barbara Guttman Wins Leadership in Forensic Science Award

This award was presented to Barbara Guttman for Leadership in Forensic Science.

Ms. Guttman is the leader of the Software Quality Group in the Information Technology Laboratory (ITL) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), where she leads projects in computer forensics and software assurance. Prior to joining the Software Quality Group, she was Associate Director of ITL, Senior Program Analyst to the NIST Director, and worked in computer security and federal information policy. She has been awarded the U.S. Department of Commerce Gold Medal in 2008 for work developing guidelines for voting systems and the NIST Bronze Medal in 1995 for work in computer security.
