AWARD CITATION

The group is honored for its achievement in developing a breakthrough technical language processing tool, Nestor, that generates actionable insights from human-generated data such as maintenance logs collected during manufacturing operations. Nestor is the first widely available, open-source tool for analyzing unstructured maintenance data. The tool integrates artificial intelligence with domain expertise to identify hidden maintenance patterns and issues, saving time and money during maintenance and enabling greatly improved operational efficiency.
