Elijah Petersen Receives ACS Chemical Research in Toxicology Award

ACS Chemical Research in Toxicology Young Investigator Award

The 2020 Chemical Research in Toxicology Young Investigator Award was selected by a committee jointly comprised of members from the Chemical Research in Toxicology Editorial Board and the Executive Committee of the American Chemical Society Division of Toxicology.

This award honors the contributions of an early-career individual who has had a major impact on research in chemical toxicology or a related field. 

Dr. Petersen will submit a Perspective or Review article for publication in Chemical Research in Toxicology and deliver an award address at the Fall ACS National meeting. In addition, Dr. Petersen is invited to lead a half-day conference session with his choice of speakers who will be part of the TOXI Program at the ACS Fall National Meeting. The lectureship is funded by the Chemical Research in Toxicology and the ACS Publications Division, and consists of an honorarium, a plaque, and travel expenses.
