Abstract
Time stability measurement methods applicable to millimeter wave channel sound are presented using standard parameters used for clock stability. Novel methods are developed to measure the stability of channel sound systems used to measure propagation and modeling parameters for 5G system. Using these methods, it was found that the time Allan Deviation for short term AoA and AoD measurements was less than 1ps and the medium-term timing errors due to clock drift could be maintained at 0.4ns/min which is adequate for TOA measurements.Citation
