Evan Jahrman (Fed)

Physicist

My research focuses on using X-ray spectroscopies to characterize catalysts.  In particular, I utilize synchrotron-based X-ray techniques to probe the effect varied synthesis and reaction conditions have on the catalyst's structure and behavior.  This involves modeling, experimental planning, data analysis, and the design of in situ equipment for techniques including XAFS, NEXAFS, and soft X-ray RIXS.
