NAE 2019 US Frontiers of Engineering Symposium

​The NAE Frontiers of Engineering (FOE) program brings together a select group of emerging engineering leaders from industry, academia, and governemtn to discuss pioneering technical work and leading edge research in various engineering fields and industry sectors with the goal of sustaining and enhancing the US innovation system. Nominations are made by CTOs, professors, NAE members, heads of government labs, and professional engineering societies. Nominees should have demonstrated accomplishment in engineering research and technical work with recognizable contributions to advancing the frontiers of engineering and possess the potential to be a future leader in the US engineering endeavor. Invitations are extended to selected nominees based on their research accomplishments and ensuring an appropriate balance of engineering fields, institutions, geographic representation, etc.
