Aniruddha Das (IntlAssoc)
Aniruddha is involved with the development of measuring instruments and techniques for various processes in additive manufacturing. Currently, his work focuses on powder feedstock characterization for metal additive manufacturing processes such as laser powder bed fusion and binder jetting. He is involved in the development, maintenance and operation of the Powder Spreading Testbed (PST) at NIST Gaithersburg. His overall interest lies in understanding metal additive manufacturing feedstock for advancement of engineering standards. These include the characterization of metal powder feedstock, studying the impact of moisture on powder feedstock and powder heterogeneity including exploration of powder feedstock mixtures.
