Brian Weiss is awarded the 2018 PHM Contributor of the Year
Recognition for significant, sustained contributions to the PHM Society by an individual or a group. Example contributions are: outreach, community engagement, cross-sector initiatives, course development and/or delivery, planning/operation of events, or active support in other Society roles. One award annually for an individual and/or one for an organization, if merited. Nominations must have a citation paragraph and at least one reference letter. A plaque and memento will be presented to the award winners.

For significant technical contributions and leadership in the PHM Society including overseeing the expansion of the panel sessions in 2016 and 2017 as the panel committee chair, serving as a General Chair of the 2018 Annual Conference of the PHM Society, and publishing ten technical articles since 2015 including three that were published in the Society’s journal and seven that were published in annual conferences.
