Abstract
Two reference and three working standard tristimulus colorimeters have been developed at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to utilize the recently introduced detector based colorimeter calibration method [1]. The tristimulus colorime-ters are calibrated on three reference calibration facilities of NIST. The preliminary calibration procedures are described and the obtained results are evaluated. Future work to improve the uncertainty of detector-based tristimulus color measurements is discussed.
