Ami A. Carbaugh (Fed)

Ami A. Carbaugh is the administrative officer of the Materials and Structural Systems Division (MSSD) of the Engineering Laboratory (EL) at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Ms. Carbaugh began her Federal service in 2001 at NIST working as a Management Analyst in the Management and Organization Division. She received her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Accounting in April 2002 and in May 2005, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. 

In February 2007, with experience and formal education Ms. Carbaugh was selected for an Administrative Officer position in the Building and Fire Research Laboratory (BFRL) at NIST. She provides administrative support to the Engineering Laboratory Headquarters and the Materials and Structural Systems Division.
