Abstract

In this paper, we provide an overview of the on-going implementation of a 3rd Generation Partnership Program (3GPP) Proximity Services (ProSe) module in ns-3 to enable the performance evaluation of device-to-device (D2D) discovery and communication in Long Term Evolution (LTE) networks.
