The Grants Management Division is honored for their dedication, adaptability, and perseverance in FY 2023 in successfully meeting the priorities of the Department of Commerce in support of the NTIA Broadband Program. NIST GMD in its entirety had to undergo an unprecedented temporary reorganization involving every member of the division in order to award two high-profile programs for our partner, NTIA. As a result of this shift and the perserverence of the GMD staff, NIST successfully issued over $1.6 billion in funding to 122 new awardees within a few short months.
