2023 Gold Medal Award

This group is recognized for developing an AI-enhanced materials analysis platform and delivering it to the laboratory system of the United States Department of Defense.  The greatly improved measurement speed, reliability, and accuracy made possible by the successful technology transfer of this new analysis platform support DOD in its mission of developing and operating advanced nuclear proliferation detection technologies to preserve our national security through monitoring nuclear treaty compliance.
