AWARD CITATION
The group is recognized for migrating 91.4 terabytes of data stored by active NIST staff and associates and removing 204 terabytes of data from NIST's on-premise file storage location. The group built automated tools to move this data to cloud services recently reconfigured and authorized to hold sensitive data, and provided significant training, customer service, and support related to these new cloud storage locations. This project approach allowed staff and associates to choose the best location for their data based on their unique scientific, administrative, and collaborative needs.
