The group is recognized for developing the first SCAP 1.3 technical content for multiple macOS operating systems. The project provides a consistent and repeatable approach to secure, assess, and monitor macOS systems. This enhances worldwide macOS cybersecurity through an open source framework which maps technical controls to compliance frameworks, greatly reducing the duration and level of effort required for compliance. The team’s content was released prior to the public release of the operating system by using the public beta period, enabling immediate implementation of the new macOS.
