AWARD CITATION
The group is recognized for enabling vaccination of NIST staff – employees, associates, and contractors – against COVID-19. The group partnered with the Department of Health and Human Services to provide a vaccination clinic on the NIST Gaithersburg campus, accommodating up to 1,000 vaccinations per day for NIST staff as well as for essential federal employees from the region.
