Mr. Dominguez is recognized for his efforts in developing a toolkit that migrated 25% of Windows 7 computers to Windows 10 with no human intervention. The toolkit upgrades firmware, changes disk formats, removes prior products, switches to current encryption technology, updates software and drivers, and changes user and secure configuration settings. It made the migration process seamless, easy-to-use, and preserved user configurations while ensuring compliance with OMB, DoC and NIST mandates, policies and regulations and allowing NIST to avoid $341.5K in support costs.
