AWARD CITATION
Senseney and Mohamoud are recognized for promoting the adoption and optimal use of file-sharing and code-sharing collaboration tools by NIST staff. Their efforts have maximized NIST's return on investment for tools that have been authorized for NIST-wide use such as GitHub, GitLab, Google's G-Suite, Box and Overleaf. As a result of the team's regular educational outreach sessions, NIST staff have learned how to utilize these tools to significantly advance their mission work. Examples of NIST impacts include streamlining work processes for grant reviews, improving stewardship of data for NIST's disaster resilience program, enhancing cross-group sharing of data analysis codes and eliminating silos of self-managed, ad-hoc solutions.
