The group is recognized for developing and implementing a central ordering and delivery program for compressed gases and cryogens for the NIST Boulder campus. In less than a year, this team collected requirements from all Boulder laboratories, developed new ordering and delivery processes, determined delivery locations, addressed safety and security risks, awarded a multiyear contract, developed an online ordering catalog and trained staff. The program was launched in August 2018 and was implemented in a manner that caused no disruption to service or research activities.
